Conscious Fashion: Fashion Resolutions

You’ve heard us say it before: being a conscious fashionista is about re-using and recycling. The start of a new year is the perfect time to take a look at your fashion habits. When you buy new clothes, do you have to cram them into your closet? Maybe you’re like me and you always seem to be running out of hangers. A great resolution for the New Year is committing to cleaning out your closet. A good rule when sorting through your closet is the 6 month rule (or 1 year rule if you are going through wardrobe withdrawals). If you haven’t worn a piece of clothing over the last 6 months, donate it! You probably won’t even miss it. Local thrift and clothing exchange stores will welcome your fashion donations.
