Design DIY: Hand-Dipped Wooden Utensils
This week’s DIY hails from House of Earnest, where they have taken regular wooden utensils and added a bit of quirk with food safe shellac paint. The hand-dipped wooden utensils add color and whimsy to your sea of sterile stainless steel cooking ware!
What you’ll need:
Wooden utensils
Tape
High gloss food safe shellac
Craft Paint
Super Easy Directions:
First, tape off the handle of the utensil. Then, apply the craft paint of your choice. Wait to dry, then apply the high gloss food safe shellac. Wait for the shellac to dry and presto (no food puns intended)! You have yourself some sweet utensils.
Note: Always be mindful of the paint chipping! And handwash!
