Foreign Friday: London

Greetings from London! After a grueling, long flight, we’re finally here!

After getting off the plane we wandered for a bit before looking for our friend’s flat. We found a playground/park that used to be a graveyard. All of the headstones were cleverly moved to line the basketball/soccer court.

JD could barely stay awake.

After a long rest we made our way to the Sea Life Aquarium. We thought this guy looked like Kingsley.

There were sharks!! Oh my!

And penguins. Say it with me… “Awwwwwwwwwwww!”

Oh look, a man playing drums on a bicycle.

JD insisted that we go to Harrod’s for ice cream, I see why now.

Walking near the Southbank Centre, there was a unique paper airplane sculpture.

Look! Guys on a bicycle thingy. Octacycle?

This is one of my favorite pieces at the Tate Modern… mostly cause I can relate. I can assure you this is not actually the inside of my bedroom. Anywho, I thought I’d pose cutely, pretending to throw my jacket into the mix.

One of the things that I had never done in London before was go on the London Eye. Now I can say that I have. It’s a lovely view of the city and just plain cool. Strongly recommend going in the late afternoon though, much less of a line!

I can almost pick them up!

And finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for… where is the Riddler?

Answer: Trafalgar Square, London, England! Did you answer correctly?

Batman made it onto the scene just a moment too late! If you didn’t guess correctly this time… don’t worry there’s going to be plenty more opportunities for a chance to win!
