Funky Fixes: The Candle Carver

While cleaning out my junk drawer (ahem, I mean junk closet), I recently found several boxes of tea lights. The first thing I thought of was, “Great, candles!” The second thing that came to mind was, “What in the world do I do with 40 tea lights?” Due to their small size, tea lights can be tricky to use. For the biggest impact, they should be placed inside decorative vases or candle holders; unfortunately, this can get expensive. A great fix for decorating on a budget is to use a candle carver. This  Candle Carver transforms everyday objects, specifically produce, into art. How clever is using an apple as a candle holder? Although fruits and vegetables won’t last as long as traditional candle holders, they have more personality and can be easily changed to match the seasons.
