From the Editor: Project Ethos at the Mint Scottsdale
Carbon was invited to the Project Ethos event at the Mint in Scottsdale this past weekend for a night of inspiration. Project Ethos is devoted to help independent artists, musicians and fashion designers. As an independent brand ourselves, Project Ethos is something that we can definitely get behind and support!
The Mint was the perfect place to host such an event. Beautiful decor and lighting set the mood for a luxe, fashion-forward evening. Tequila Revolucion provided tasty beverages for the guests during the meet-and-greet portion of the event in which we were able to mingle with the Valley’s most fashionable. Outside, the art gallery was a real treat and showcased gorgeous works of art. My favorites were those by Mesa’s Ryan Kent. After viewing the art gallery, we were ushered inside to our seats for the runway show. The show featured glamorous swimwear by Fredricks of Hollywood and unique ways to wear the Cardiwrap by Kymaro. The conclusion of the fashion show featured four local designers’ garments as part of Vitamin Water’s Flavor Fashionista Challenge. Each designer used a flavor of Vitamin Water to inspire their design. After a slew of text votes, Bri Bridge (my personal fav too!) was named the winner of the contest. The night ended with a concert by Anjulie, who performed her hit, “Brand New Chick.”
Overall it was a wonderful evening and Carbon was so excited to be a part of it. We are so excited to attend the next Project Ethos event!
