Fashion News: Madonna’s Brother to Launch Footwear Collection

It has been announced that Madonna’s younger brother, Christopher Ciccone, is set to launch a new footwear collection this September during London Fashion Week. This will be his first move into the fashion world as he is currently known for his artwork and furniture design. The collection will consist of footwear for men, women and children and will contain a mixture of traditional styles made with modern materials. Ciccone made a deal over a year ago with Czechoslovakian shoe company, Novesta, regarding the collection. Expect “a welcome reprieve to the often unwearable designs of late,” a statement from the label reads. There are also plans to develop the label into a lifestyle brand in the future and its first store will open in early winter this year.

The collection is inspired by classic Hollywood stars and the work of Georgia O’Keefe. I think the collection is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to see the end result!
