From the Editor: 10 Most Fashionable TV Characters

So after reading NextMovie.com’s list of the 9 most fashionable movie characters, We knew we had to make our own list of fashionable TV characters. How many times can a character change ensembles throughout the length of a movie anyway? The true test of a fictional character’s style is how they’re dressed on a weekly basis over the course of a season!

Here goes:

10. Katherine Petrova- The Vampire Diaries
She’s always up to some kind of trouble on The Vampire Diaries and she’s always dressed in some sort of leather jacket, skinny jeans and sky-high booties and we’re loving all of it. Katherine’s soft waves mixed with her edgy ensembles and mysterious personality makes her number 10 on our countdown.

9. Naomi Clark- 90210
She’s the “it girl” of Beverly Hills High and is always dressed to the nines for class. She can afford designer looks and wears them like no one else can. Naomi is often dressed more like a 20-something-year-old rather than a high school senior. Her consistently polished looks makes her the best candidate for number nine on our list.

8. Chuck Bass & Blair Waldorf- Gossip Girl
This stylish couple’s ensembles often look best when paired together. Blair’s classically feminine dresses are the perfect match to Chuck’s masculine tailored suits. They aren’t afraid to take chances with their wardrobes and always produce luxe fashion-forward looks each week making the two of them number eight on our top 10.

7. Neal Caffrey- White Collar
He’s the most suave gentlemen you’ll ever meet. Some of his smooth has to be due to his impeccable taste in style. Neal is always dressed in well fitting (expensive) suits and they always look fantastic. We think there’s nothing more appropriate for fighting in the white collar crime unit.

6. Effy Stonem- Skins
Effy, ultimately known for her skimpy, grunge style always looks incredible no matter how tattered the clothes. She’s got the ability to toss on any item in her wardrobe and look effortlessly put together and beautifully deconstructed at the same time. Her wardrobe is generally monochromatic with varying shades of gray. Effy’s style has made the number six spot on our countdown.

5. Yoon Sung- City Hunter
This hero-of-the-people is always looking wonderful on his days off. You can always spot him in his signature T-shirt and colored skinny jeans always layered under a tailored jacket. His ensembles usually follow a colorblock palette and that is more than OK with us. Yoon Sung is number five on this list.

4.

4. Spencer Hastings-Pretty Little Liars
Spencer’s style would be prep with a modern twist. Her signature style is very clean cut but not overly perfect. She’s often seen with a french braid and a riding boot. A look that we are definitely not opposed to. A should probably spend less time stalking the liars and start stalking her wardrobe.

3. Betty Draper- Mad Men
Betty is the troubled yet seemingly perfect housewife of the 60s. She spends 80% of her day at home but dresses as if she’s going out on the town. Her wardrobe is the epitome of the 1960s, beautiful and classic but cutting edge for the women of her time.

2. Belle- Secret Diary of a Call Girl
Belle is the second most fashionable TV character on our list. While her profession may be questionable, there’s no doubt that she spends her income on the right thing- gorgeous fashion. Her style is expensive, almost on the edge of couture. Her modern ensembles have made us fall in love with her personal wardrobe.

1. Cassie- Skins
Our choice for most fashionable TV character is Cassie Ainsworth from Skins. We know, this is our second character from the series, Skins, but we couldn’t help it. That show is loaded with amazing fashion! Most importantly this girl has incredible personal style. It’s quirky but cute and fashion-forward all at the same time. Her unlikely mixtures of textiles and patterns always seem to work with each other which is why she is our number one pick for TV’s most fashionable characters.
