From the Editor: Video Lookbooks

Creativity with technology never ceases to impress me. I love that even fashion has begun to utilize technology in a whole new way to promote their aesthetic, more specifically through video lookbooks. For those of you who don’t know, a lookbook is a book that features photographs of a designer’s collection or perhaps a model’s photos. A video lookbook is just that, but turned into a video. The best thing about these video lookbooks is that they can tell a story and give even more creative freedom to the artist. They can also be shared easily through digital means, like social media. This is a trend that I 100% support, in fact if you haven’t noticed, Carbon has our own video lookbook on our homepage featuring three DIY Halloween looks.
