Linked to Fashion: High-End Meets Affordable

You should all realize by now that I am all about affordable fashion. I have addressed my love for H&M numerous times and now they have joined forces with none other than Versace. H&M has a wonderful way of collaborating with the best of the best; Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo and Lanvin just to name a few.

Donatella Versace tells us what to expect from the line, “The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.”

College Gloss‘s article “High-End Meets Affordable: Versace Collaboration with H&M” also tells us that the line will showcase a 30-piece womenswear collection which will include accessories and heels. It will also have a men’s 20-piece collection including belts and jewelry. Unlike other collabs before Versace, the brand has taken it one step further and thrown in some bedding a pillow pieces. The collection is set to hit stores November 19th.
