Fashion News: Marni Is the Next Collaboration for H&M

H&M has now announced the Marni will be its next collaboration in Spring 2012. The collection will be available in stores worldwide from 8^th of March 2012.  Marni is an Italian Label and its designer Consuelo Castiglioni has created a collection full of vivid colours and all over prints. Marni is famous for mixing tribal colours and prints with Bauhaus graphics and this will be highlighted throughout the collection. The women’s collection will contain full pleated skirts, cropped trousers, dresses and jacquard knits in many fabrics from silk to cotton. The collection will also feature some statement accessories and silver platform pumps. Marni will also create a men’s collection for H&M which will feature striped sweaters and heavy coats.

“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints,” explains Consuelo Castiglioni. “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.”

I am really looking forward to this collection, and even though it’s not as bold and colourful as the Versace Collection for H&M, the collection looks amazing and will suit many different styles in the world of Fashion. The collection is a statement in itself and will attract many fashionistas alike.
