Designer Spotlight: CutieCoduti

Spring trends are going to be full of color after a white winter season and the tedious neutral hues. We can look forward to color blocking, floral patterns, and pieces that steal the spotlight. This week, we take a look at the beautiful craft of Amy Coduti, creator of CutieCoduti. She produces beautifully handcrafted jewelry that easily become the spotlight of
any ensemble. Gorgeous, chic, and made with love.

Cutie Coduti was brought to life a mere 3 months ago thank to Amy’s supportive husband who built and runs her website. It is a home-based business that allows her to stay home with her beautiful children. Though CutieCoduti is still a new company, Amy’s designs have been featured on a few celebrities, including Tracy DiMarco of Jerseylicious, describing the jewelry as “Unique custom made pieces that catch your eye & start conversation! Wonderfully made with a beautiful design”

Carbon Magazine: What is the inspiration behind your product?

Amy: My family and my mother. My mother suffered a subdural hematoma 7 years ago during her first professional boxing fight and after awakening from a very long coma, she told me to always follow my dreams.

CM: What makes your brand stand out from companies that make a similar product?

A: The difference between CutieCoduti and other companies is that my pieces are one of a kind, handmade with love.

CM: If you could see your product on a celebrity who would it be? Or, which celebrities have worn your designs?

A: I do have some celebrities wearing my designs and I’m super excited about it; Tracy Dimarco and Corey Matthews from Jerseylicious, Lysa Marco Simpson and Kim Marco Pirrella, sisters to Melissa Gorga from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Pam Horn from If the bow fits who is a celebrity designer. Please stay tuned for following seasons of Jerseylicious; CutieCoduti will be seen.

CM: What age groups are your designs directed towards?

A: All, Cutie Coduti offers one of a kind designs for all ages, including lil cuties.

CM: Do you have a favorite piece you’ve ever designed?

A: Yes, my night owl necklace holds special meaning to me because most of my CutieCoduti pieces are designed at night.

CM: How do you keep up with the latest trends?

A: I don’t try to keep up with trends. My goal is to make my customers happy by making their ideas come to life.

CM: What advice do you have for an aspiring designer?

A: Never give up on your dreams because your dreams will only go as far as you’re willing to take them.

As a college girl with a passion for style, clothing and accessories engulf my dorm room. At every end of it, necklaces, make-up brushes, and shoes are sprawled across the floor. My love of accessories left me excited to receive my CutieCoduti necklace in the mail, but I was even more satisfied after seeing it in person. At first glance, I immediately admired the colors and the quality of the necklace. Each bead held its own detail to add to the accessory. I fell in love with the owl beads, giving Amy props for her adorable features. I rocked my CC piece with a simple top underneath a neutral toned sweater, taking my simple look to vintage chic. Not only was it a pleasure conversing with Amy, but the product was stunning and obviously made with love.
