The Style Guru: Always Be Ready
Fed up of never having anything to wear? It’s the same story every weekend- You didn’t have plans to go out Saturday night, until boredom kicked in and due to fear of missing out, you cave in. Then it dawns on you, you’ve outworn all your clothes. Well fear no more, I’ve been on the hunt and have found some key essentials that will have you ready for those last minute nights out.
Next time you hand over your hard earned cash to your favorite store, ask yourself if there’s anything in your wardrobe that would go with it, including shoes. If the answer is no, don’t buy it. You’ll never wear it unless you buy something to compliment it. Instead, invest in something that can revive what you already have at home.
Here are some fun suggestions:
Disco Pants
Easy and comfortable, they come in a variety of colours and go with everything. Wear them with a leotard, a blouse, or a crop top if you chose high-waisted ones. They also go well with wedges or stilettos.
A One Piece
They don’t do them simpler than this. A jumpsuit hides the legs if you haven’t got time to shave and tan yourself. You don’t need to look for a top to go with it and a jumpsuit makes it look like you put loads of effort in, when you didn’t.
Maxi Dress
Full length dresses emphasize your curves and if you choose a plain, one-tone colour it will make you appear taller. Wear it with layered accessories for a boho vibe or choose delicate jewelry for a minimal look. Either way, you will stand out with this easy-to-wear dress.
Crop Top
Crop tops automatically look dressy, but are also good for a casual night out too. They can be thrown on with high-waisted shorts, skirts or trousers. Choose a top with flattering fabric. Sheer, silk, satin or lace will dress up any dull outfit.
