The Style Guru – How to Wear Dungarees

My style has been taken over by my inner child lately. I’m obsessed with dungarees. I don’t care if they’re flared, shorts or skinny ones, I’m just obsessed.
Dungarees aren’t necessarily for teenagers or twenty-somethings. However, they do tend to look better the less curvaceous. Teamed with the right top and shoes, you can look very stylish without looking like you’ve tried too hard.
The mac, blouse and boots give these dungarees a grown-up look. Wearing them loose at the top and tight at the bottom will flatter your figure.
Short dungarees are great for the summer. Throw any vest top or baggy t-shirt underneath for a casual day outfit. This look would be great for festivals or the beach. There’s no need to shelve away your short dungarees come winter as you can always team these with tights and a jacket.
Rummage around your local vintage shop and you’ll be sure to find an unusual alternative to denim dungarees. This velvet one piece could be dressed up or down and it’s something you’d never throw away.
