Character Wear: Gloria Delgado-Prichett

Gloria Delgado-Pritchett is the firecracker of a woman from Modern Family.  This Colombian woman, a feisty ball of low cut dresses, big hair, and high heels, is the younger wife of Jay Pritchett and she, at least to me, is the heart and sole of the show.  Her parts are the parts I always find funny, heartwarming, and amazing. She has a loose grasp of the English language, but a strong grip on what she thinks is right and wrong.  Her clothes are tight, bright, and loud, just like her personality.  To dress like her, make sure you’re going to a party, because otherwise you’ll be way overdressed for anything! Get a tight fitting dress, with a bit of cleavage, but not too short, you still have to be classy.  Next get a pair of nude, super high platform heels, because Gloria is very short, and is always trying to be taller. Jewelry is simple yet elegant; big gold hoops and a simple gold bracelet.  Red lipstick and loose hair with big waves are both must haves for this look.  With all these things together, you’ll be dressed like a firecracker, so try to act like one too! Do something you’ve never done before and don’t be afraid to make a fool of yourself, sometimes the best moments come from laughing at yourself!
