The Style Guru – Tribal Pastels

The tribal trend has been drained of  all of its’ color.  As we all know by now, pastels have taken over and marked their fashion territory this summer.  Even the ethnic-tribal trend has beenreinvented into a washy, watercolor painting this year.  When I think of tribal prints, I instantly think of denim, festivals and grunge.  This time around though, we’re seeing Aztec prints in ice cream shades dressed up in a feminine way.

If you are already a paler shade of pale, you don’t have to avoid this look.  Wear a deeper color with your pastels, like navy or blue.  Tribal was always about clashing colors anyway.

For girls who usually rock vibrant colors, this look might wash you out.  Try it out anyway, there’s always a shade of every color out there that suits everyone.
