Designer Spotlight: BLUSH FASHION

Summer is all about adding a little color to your style.

Thin layers, popping detail and fresh, vibrant color is what makes BLUSH Fashion a shop well-worth your browse. Dainty sun dresses and high fashion frocks are just two of many looks that will glam up your summer style.

Carbon Magazine: What is the inspiration behind your beautiful collection?
Sheryll: My inspiration comes from the modern women, feminine, urban, sexy and comfortable; Blush style can be described as URBAN SHEEK NONCHALANT, characterized by flowing cloths while maintaining feminine sexual designs by insinuating a womanly silhouette within a flow of fabric

CM: If you could see your designs on anyone in the world who would it be?
S: Anna Wintour

CM: Great Choice! Which celebrity/designer has become your muse for designing?
S: I love Fashion Designers Miu Miu, Prada, Lanvin, Alber Elbaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman.

CM:  What is the reasoning behind BLUSH’s name?
S: I believe that clothes and fashion meant both to express ourselves and to show who we are to the world and to reflect the way we feel and make others look at us, and this is the reason I chose my line name BLUSH as a metaphor.

CM: Favorite summer trend?
S: Color blocks strong yellow, blue, coral, white, sheer fabric, crepe fabrics silk, Grecian Goddess silhouette.

CM: Tell us about your favorite product you’ve ever designed.
S: While I was a fashion design college student I participate in a competition, I was creating a dress that was made like a puzzle in black and white the dress was inspired by the Disney movie
101 Dalmatians, I won the first place.

CM: How do you describe you/your brands personal style?
S: A lot of fun dresses, I love to create 3 dimension details, with a lot of inspiration from vintage silhouette and a touch of romance.

CM: What kind of person do you design for?
S: I design my cloth for trendy women in ages 16-30, I try to create a dress that is effortless elegant and timeless that a collage student can wear to the party/ wedding, women can wear to a premiere, and teenager will wear prom.

I received the incredibly constructed pink Maxi Dress. While summer is known for airy maxi dresses and sweet sun dresses, the flair of a BLUSH gown is romantically whimsical. Simple yet detailed in all the right places, the maxi dress features a deep v-cut neckline and a thin, breathable fabric. The form of BLUSH’s dresses are made to accentuate each curve but keep a vintage feel. Easily dressed up or down, my piece of BLUSH was worn to a picnic and a formal restaurant for date night!
