Character Wear: Spencer Hastings, Pretty Little Liars

Anyone who is a fan of the ABC Family show, Pretty Little Liars, will likely tell you they don’t just watch the show for the drama, they also watch it for the clothes. Though living in a small town outside of Pennsylvania, the girls in this show dress like everyday is a runway. And though they are best friends, each girl has a distinct personal style. Aria is the punky, fashion-forward girl who is not afraid to take risks, Hanna is high glam all the time, Emily is the casual, tomboyish one, and Spencer is the preppy, sophisticated one. Each girl who watches the show is sure to have a favorite, and mine is most definitely Spencer.

She is smart, loyal, and not afraid to say what’s on her mind. She’s got a plan and no one can get in the way of her determined mindset. Plus, even though it may seem like she is always buttoned up and prim, Spencer outfits are skewing more and more into sexy schoolgirl territory. Though she’s often seen in a button-up oxford or a cardigan, she is often showing off her best feature, those long, gorgeous legs. She regularly pairs short skirts with thigh-high socks and lace-up wedge booties, which is a good way for her to offset her pearls and collegiate patches. So though Spencer may seem like a nice girl, she definitely toes the line towards naughty. Toby is really going to regret when he screws it all up with her.
