Character Wear: Snow White

Snow White is the quintessential Disney Princess with her sweet demeanor, beautiful looks, and way with animals. Walt Disney had her dressing in a bright yellow and blue dress with red accents and short black hair. Recently, the creators of LOST have re-imagined her for their new show, Once Upon A Time. This new Snow White is adventurous, daring and brave, as well as kind and determined. She faces the traditional Snow White perils and threats from the Evil Queen with more steely grit than you would expect, which is refreshing. Her wardrobe has been revamped as well, and it is more beautiful than ever! It is mostly white, elegant, has a lot of feathers and classy touches fit for a princess.

To get the Snow White look, start with a white ruffled dress and make it more modern (and less like a wedding dress) by having it stop at mid-thigh. Then get some pumps with feather accents, like the ones pictured. A feathered white and black headband over the top of a loose and curled up-do gives your hair the classy, whimsical look that she has.  Swipe on some dark red lipstick to add drama.  Finally, a Snow White inspired look can’t be complete without a poisoned apple. I suggest a simple silver necklace with an apple charm. Now that you’re dressed like Snow White, go to your party with the same sweet and gentle bravery that she has and maybe you’ll meet your very own Prince Charming!
