Character Wear: Elena Gilbert

This week I have a tough girl mentality and so I thought I’d write about someone tough and strong; Elena Gilbert, everyone’s favorite vamp-loving fashionista.  Elena is the girl everyone wants to be, or wants to be with.  She’s kind, generous, beautiful, popular, and secretly tough.  She’s awesome and has a kick-ass wardrobe to match.

Her clothes are very simple (perfect for fights with evil vampires) and sleek.  Unless she has to dress up for an event, like the Founders Ball, you’ll always find her in dark skinny jeans or short shorts.  Next add a solid colored top in a bright color.  Look for a top with a few ruffles for added interest.  Top it off with a fitted black leather jacket and some hardcore black leather boots for a tough girl edge.  Straighten your hair, put on some light makeup and add an antique necklace and you’re ready.  When you dress like Elena, try to hold your own like she does.  Be tough, but don’t be so tough that you’re not kind to everyone. Who knows, maybe you’ll find your own super hot vampire boyfriend!
