Character Wear: Rachel Berry

I’ve been on a bit of a Glee kick recently, so I thought that I’d write about Rachel Berry and her adorable, yet chic, fashion this week. Rachel, and her fashion, hasn’t always been my favorite. When the show first started I thought she was irritating and I thought her clothes were childish and made her look like a 5 year old.  But in this season, I think that Rachel has grown so much as a character, and her dresses this season, wow! I want to own every single dress she wears, they’re all so cute!

I picked a striped dress to show a typical Rachel look, because she almost always wears a pattern of some kind.  Add some navy knee socks and red Mary Janes to give it a school girl vibe.  A silver star necklace goes well with the navy and white dress, but also makes you feel like a star, which is a feeling that Rachel knows and loves.  Some dark pink or light red lipstick defines your lips, so keep the rest of your make up simple.  Straighten your hair and wear a 1000 white smile, and you’re ready to go.  Rachel always believes in herself and has a ton of self confidence, backed up by that amazing voice.  When you dress like her, try and have that same self confidence and you’ll feel like a star too!
