Beauty Box: Physicians Formula Mineral Wear

Finding the right foundation can be hard. I’ve tried several different kinds over the years and have never fully been happy with one. I don’t like most liquid foundations, because I feel like they’re too heavy and feel like I’m wearing tons of make-up. I tend to stick to powder foundations, but it’s difficult to find the right shade that doesn’t look too cakey and that will last all day. Recently I decided to try Physicians Formula Mineral Wear, a pressed powder foundation that is actually a swirl of pink, yellow, green, and beige. And to my delight, it turned out to be the best foundation I’ve ever worn.

The powder is really light but still manages to stay on throughout the day. The swirl of colors may seem weird, but combined, they actually create a color that looks much more natural than most powder foundations. It does a really good job of evening out your skin tone, and gives you a bit of a dewy sheen. I recommend using a powder puff applicator, instead of the little brush that comes with it, to apply it.
