Spring has sprung and that means the return of the pastels!! College Gloss has put together five different shades and outfits to help us out with the spring pastel trend. Designers from Ralph Lauren to Marc Jacobs have recently used pastels in their runway shows so we know we’re on the right track!

The first pastel that College Gloss shares with us is green! I’m in love with pastel green. They tell us the reason green is so great is because its feminine and flirty at the same time. Grab some skinny jeans or a flowy top for a beautiful mint or seafoam green ensemble. My favorite green accessory is my seafoam green nail polish! Pink is of course a girly color! The fun thing about pink is you can pair the pastel pink with hot pink and it brings a little bit of sassiness to the outfit. Beautiful blue is the third shade College Gloss talks about. Baby blue has a bit of a sophisticated feel to it. Flowy tops are my favorite item for warm weather, especially a pastel blue flowy top! You know you can’t have spring without yellow!! Find yourself a perfect canary yellow sundress and you’ll be set this season! Last, but certainly not least is orange. Other great shades with orangy hughes are coral and peach. I love orange and coral accessories because they can bring a much needed pop of color to any outfit! To see all outfits visit the College Gloss link!

Don’t be shy this spring to try some new colors and trends. They’re pastels after all, and I think we can all handle a little pastel in our lives!
