Linked to Fashion: Color Your Look

Sharing is caring!

Since it’s a brand new year, a lot of people are thinking about their resolutions and hopefully trying to include them into their daily lives. The Next Great Generation says to Jumpstart January with a New Workout Routine. We all have different goals when it comes to working out: to be healthy, to lose weight, and/or to get stronger. This is the time to get out there and set your sights on looking and feeling great about yourself!

Another great way to kick off the new year is to start incorporating pops of color into your wardrobe. Winter is filled with dark, drab colors which make us feel gloomy. College Gloss lets us in on their secrets on how to bring some color into your winter wardrobe. Even I have to convince myself that colors aren’t scary. You don’t have to go all out and color block right away. Start by adding color to your accessories. Once you’ve accomplished that you can go ahead and introduce these to your wardrobe in heartwarming colors: sweaters, dresses, pants, pumps, flats, earrings, bracelets, tights, belts,  and handbags. No need to be afraid of color this winter. Let it brighten your mood!

Last, but certainly not least, Life2PointOh tells us the 6 Expert Beauty Tips for a Natural Winter Glow. The first and most important tip is moisturizing! Winter weather makes the skin dry and flaky! Be sure to find a really good moisturizer to keep your skin silky smooth. To keep the natural glow find a light foundation that matches your paler winter skin color. They recommend finding a blush color that would matches the color your cheeks turn in cold weather. Remember that less is more. Swipe your lids with a nice taupe or natural color and a little mascara. To finish it off, find a nice natural gloss and you’re set with your natural winter look!
