Designer Spotlight: RED WOLF treasures

For some of us college fashionistas, school is
coming to end! Make way for spring/summer trends and styles! While many of you
are refreshing your wardrobes with pastel denim, neon blouses and high tops,
don’t forget to ditch the preppy pearls. This spring is all about boho-chic
accessories. Stay in the spotlight by pairing your ensembles with pieces

The Interview

CM: When did REDWOLF get
started?

RW: We started REDWOLF in
September 2010 as a hobby, but it wasn’t until Spring of 2011 that we decided
to take this as far as we can. We live in the rainy Pacific Northwest, so we
have plenty of days stuck indoors to create jewelry.

CM: What inspired you to
create the jewelry?

RW: We decided to create what we
couldnʼt find- weʼve never had the thickest of wallets, so we wanted to make
style affordable. Whatever the inspiration maybe, and after always
deconstructing and re-imagining everything weʼve bought. Inspiration is
everywhere.

CM: What makes REDWOLF
stand out from other companies similar to you?

RW: Our true love and passion for
what we do shows in our work. We try out all our jewelry first to see if they
are comfortable and durable before we put them up for sale. Also customer
service, as in communication, is extremely important to us. Which can be seen
easily in our feedback. We receive really sweet messages from our customers
& have been fortunate to have awesome returning customers.

CM: Favorite spring trend?

RW: Hands down- NEONS! Both of us
are beyond obsessed.

CM: If you could see your
designs on a celeb, who would it be?

RW: Rihanna. She is our girl crush.
She wears our favorite jewelry designer’s pieces we want ourselves! (Pamela
Love & Low Luv by Erin Wasson) That is our dream celebrity to wear our
jewelry.

CM: Who could pull off
your products?

RW: Anyone whoʼs willing to be
themselves. We try hard to make our designs be unisex and worn by everyone. We
donʼt think you canʼt put an age on confidence.

CM: Do you have a
favorite piece you’ve designed?

RW: We say every piece is our
favorite with every new piece we make. Way too often do we find ourselves
making extras for ourselves.

CM: How do you keep up
with style?

RW: BLOGS!

CM: How would you
describe your city’s style?

RW: hipsters.

CM: Any advice for fellow
designers?

RW: Follow your gut instinct. Weʼve
both been amazed at the international response to us just being ourselves.

Product Review 

I love an edgy,
freshly chic accessory, and REDWOLF treasure is the place to find a variety of
just that. When I received my RWT ear cuff, gold slave bracelet, and crystal
pendant necklace, I automatically transformed to summer mode. The style is so bohemian
meets style vixen meshed with a grungy hipster. Ear cuffs are a huge spring
