Character Wear: Paige Collins

True love is something hard to find and when you find it, it seems as though nothing could ever break the bond.  But what if some tragic accident happened and left one person leaving the other clueless as to how to restore the loving memories they once had? In The Vow, Rachel McAdams plays the beautifully unique Paige Collins who suffers from memory loss after a car accident with her boyfriend and true love, Leo.  After waking from a coma, Paige has no memory of the life, love and relationship she had with Leo. She leaves him with the task of figuring out how to make her fall in love with him again.

With two different versions of Paige making an appearance throughout the movie, pre-accident and post-accident, I knew that I wanted to re-create the look of the pre-accident Paige who is a unique style-savvy artist.  She dresses fun and funky with cute accessories topping off each look.  This outfit can go from casual to formal with the simple switch of a jacket or pair of shoes.  The base and main piece of this outfit is a simple white dress.  I chose a white eyelet dress with cropped sleeves and bateau neckline which is perfect for the hot summer days ahead. To create that hourglass figure we all want, put a tan belt at the waistline to emphasize the narrowest part of your torso.  Over top the dress try adding a light brown leather bomber jacket. You will be needing it for those cool summer nights.  You might be thinking summer is the time to pack up and put away those boots but this ensemble is perfect to break out some tan, cowboy-inspired ankle boots.  And who knows, that slight heel can give you a lift to that confidence level you’ve been looking to reach! Finalizing this look with some contrast, I chose turquoise-colored accessories. A wrap bracelet with turquoise beads and matching turquoise cross earrings really make this outfit a show-stopper!  Need some help finding true love yourself?
