The Style Guru: Denim Dilemma
I have an obsession with denim at the moment. I really have no idea where this new adoration came from. I was never a tomboy and I rarely ever wear jeans. I’ve found myself longing for a denim shirt for quite awhile now, but I’m currently borrowing my boyfriend’s because it’s over-sized and saves me my hard earned cash for what might be a passing phase. The styling opportunities are endless. Shirts offer a cool alternative to cardigans and can be a good way to protect your delicate skin at the beach.
If you aren’t too sure about double denim, just remember to wear a lighter shade of denim with a darker shade of denim and you can’t go wrong.
A denim shirt doesn’t have to be casual. Find a fit that is flattering and grab your favorite pair of skinnies. Now your ready for lunch with the girls, a shopping trip, a date or whatever.
Been out all night? Nobody needs to know. Leave your shirt at your friend’s/boyfriend’s house to have handy for the walk of shame the next day. You could just bring a bag big enough to squeeze it into. It will come in handy at 4am when your trying to hail a taxi in the rain.
