Kingsley’s Corner: My First Brazilian

Kingsley’s Corner: My First Brazilian
That’s right girls, guys and cats out there- swimsuit season is on its way! It’s funny how the style seems to be more and more hairless each year. For us cats, well I guess our beach bods are changing too.  For all you cats listening; this summer we have a great new trend that is functional and fashionable (not to mention, sexy too!). And the new trend is… a nice shaved rear end! I’m gonna share a story from my point of view. My First Brazilian…

I have something on my butt. I don’t know what it is but I just cannot reach it. Every time I try to get it, Hil and Brit look at me funny. All I know is that there is something stuck to my butt. They even started to scour when I walked by. What could it be? Later, Hil and Brit lifted up my tail to find a huge clump of fur and junk on my trunk. Apparently it smelled horrible. My moms made some phone calls like before– I guess that meant I was going somewhere. I did not want to go in the car again! This time, Hil and Brit put me in the cage and brought me to the car. The car ride was just as bad as last time. I meowed all the way to the store. When we got there, Hilary went inside for a minute. When she came back, we went home! What happened?
The next day we took another terrifying car ride back to the store. We all went inside this time. This store looked exactly the same as the last one. Instead of going to the back, we went into a small room near the front. Then a strange lady put me on the cold metal table. She turned on some sort of loud machine. What is she going to do to me? Another lady came and held my waist while the first lady lifted my tail and started to shave away. Everyone in the room was looking at me with scrunched up noses. I was so embarrassed. After a couple minutes, my moms started to smile in awe. I realized they were fixing my butt problem! Before I knew it, I was stink-free and had no hair down there. I think that’s what they call a Brazilian?
