The queen of fashion. The grandmother of punk. The charity heavyweight. Who am i talking about? Vivienne Westwood of course! The eccentric flame-haired designer has defined the British fashion scene for decades, and has spread her taste for the unexpected worldwide. But it’s not just this that makes her an icon. She is one strong-willed woman with one main objective, to use her talent and influence to better the world around us.

This human rights charity teamed up with Vivienne Westwood in order to promote their cause and raise money for work involving victims of torture and those facing the death penalty. From lingerie to a jewellery line, it had everything covered.
This campaign found Westwood collaborating with the environmental charity Cool Earth. She donated 1 million of her own money, as well as designing an amazing range of graffiti-style t-shirts. Everyone from Kate Moss to Lily Donaldson supported the cause, even digging deep into their own pockets at Vivienne’s request. It seems that this woman in unstoppable.
