Conscious Fashion: Leather for Cow-Lovers

This month, Free People debuted a line of vegan leather! The line includes shorts, a skirt, pants, and an adorable jacket. Vegan leather is not made from any animal products; it is a synthetic fabric, so yay for happy cows!

I still don’t know if I’m brave enough to wear leather pants, but if I did, these would be my first choice. I also love that the designers paired the leather with girly, soft pieces. Though many of us might be rockers at heart, stepping out in ripped pants, a leather jacket, and brass knuckles just isn’t going to happen. But try leather pants, a flowy blouse and girly accessories, and you can give a nod to your inner rocker without letting her take the spotlight (and get you both into trouble)!
